Well…yesterday was an interesting day! Does this sound like your life:
–up early to work
–pack 5 people for one-week trip in 2 hours
–discover dryer is broken with one wet load and one damp load of laundry needed for trip
–leave for trip 1.5 hours late
–realize 7 minutes into trip that you left your flip-flops on driveway, having taken them off to climb into backseat and stuff one more bag under kids’ seats
–discover New Jersey traffic is just as hellish as it was last year
–enjoy the ambiance of a convenience store bathroom somewhere in Maryland at 12:00 a.m., sans toilet paper
–arrive at destination at 2:00 a.m. and try to bring luggage cart across parking lot and into hotel as quietly as possible with 3 kids in tow
It does? Great! I thought I was the only one!
Now we’re all rested, and we just enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here at the Springhill Suites. I just LOVE Marriott! (You’ll find out what I ate in tomorrow’s post.)

Whatever you do, DON’T eat like I did today. It didn’t serve me well. But…I certainly didn’t OD on carbs, now did I?
